I am halfway done memorizing Psalm 91! My hubby and my oldest girl Jessica have helped by checking me. I will type verses 1-8 by memory here.
...But don't check my punctuation, okay?
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisesome pestilence.
He shall cover thee with his feathers; and under his wings shalt thou trust. His truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
The Lord has really blessed my efforts to memorize His word, and shown me truths that I didn't notice before, because I am meditating on it. I have also learned that it is best to memorize Scripture in the morning, when my mind is fresh and uncluttered.
I challenge you to choose a chapter of the Bible to write upon the table of your heart! It's not too late to join us during Mega Memory Month.
...And now, I'm off to work on the second half of Psalm 91.

Great job Tammy.
I started with John 1 a while ago but stalled out when I only had about 8 verses left. Thanks for the motivation!
Way! To! Go! Rah-rah!
Seriously, that's so wonderful. Enjoy continuing to put that beautiful language and those wonderful truths into head-and-heart.
Terrific progress, Tammy!
These words will be with you for life!
Oh wow. You know what I was blessed by when I read your post? The fact that you are receiving blessings by memorising! I think that is so wonderful!
