Stopping in to update! My foot's been in a cast for about three months now. We will be going in to have it removed this week or next, then will begin rehabilitation.
It's been difficult for this mom of eight, hobbling about on crutches or in a wheelchair, but God has been so good. My family has blessed me, especially my older girls, pitching in and doing the things Mom could no longer do. But I am certainly ready to be able to walk again.

I'm so sorry that you have suffered so long with this foot problem. I'm sure glad that you have such wonderful girls to help with the chores though. How is the rehabilitation going? ARe you walking yet? Love you and I am praying for you today! Come by and see us on the blog.
Oh my goodness - for a second I read that as in a week or two you were going to have your leg removed! I am glad your leg is staying on, your cast is being coming off and wish you all the best for your rehab! ;)

Sheesh! You're right - It does sound like I had my foot amputated!! Must edit that.. :)
