Mom and Dad arrived in Guatemala on Monday and will be with us for a little while. It is so good to see them again! With today's technology, we can talk to them from a thousand miles away or IM every day if we want, but there is just no substitute for a warm embrace or a smile in person.
My children are thoroughly enjoying their Grammy and Papa, (the younger two getting re-acquainted with them :o). We'll let them rest up from their trip and get acclimated to the altitude before we take them to do any crazy stuff!
I hope you are all seeing God's blessings today as well!

Oh! I'm soooo glad your dad was able to make it! How is his health?
It is really great that your folks are able to visit you for awhile.
Must really be a treat for the children to. Have a wonderful time with them!!! Have they been down there before?
Thanks, Tammy! Dad's doc said it would be okay for him to come, as long as there is a clinic where he can have his blood levels checked. There is. We'll go do that Friday or Saturday.
He's feeling good! This morning he ran the saw while my hubby climbed up and hammered on the roof. Dad has always loved working with wood. :o)
Thank you, Randy! It's such a blessing to have them :o) Yes, they have been down a few times over the years. They always return home to TX in better shape physically, and their doc encourages them to come often, ha!
that is so wonderful! Hope you take pictrures
Aw, that must be fun! We just had visitors - not quite as far as yours - but loved and treasured nonetheless while they were here... you're right, nothing like a IRL embrace! Enjoy. :)
Tell them hello from Merkel.
I really understand how you feel
Enjoy your time with them ^_^
Congratulations. My parents are visiting next week - very excited.
