So I've been trying to work out a really creative way to make this announcement. I thought about making it cute. I thought about making it inspirational. I thought about making it funny and joyful. Because it's all those things! But since I couldn't make up my mind, I will just come out and say it.
We're expecting a baby!!!!!!! Number Eight is due in late November. Praising Father for the gift of life! :oD

Congratulations from Amy in Cantel. We are expecting #5 in late January, our second chapincito.
I come by wondering if you might possibly know of anyone around here using Rod and Staff textbooks. (You are the only other English speaking, homeschooling family I know of in Guatemala, and I think you have some connections with a few local Mennonites, too?) I'm looking for used 3rd grade mathematics and English student texts. Hoping to avoid shipping from the States if possible. Thanks!
Amy
Amy, are you in the Intermissions Yahoo group? You can post there, and other missionaries in Guatemala will see your request. I've bought R&S books from a couple in Xela before, so I know others are using R&S here. But none of the Mennonites that I know of homeschool - they all send their children to their school in La Cumbre. Hope that info helps!
